MISSION
The mission of the Postgraduate Program in Linguistic Studies is to be a reference Postgraduate Program in the field of Linguistic Studies that problematizes the relationship between Language and Society, in a critical and reflective way, contributing to the improvement of people's lives at the same time, investing in innovative scientific development and in the qualification of higher education personnel in the semi-arid region of Bahia, with national and international projection.
VISSION
To maintain its status as a Postgraduate Program in the field of Linguistic Studies with credibility in society, engaged with relevant and innovative scientific production, basing its actions on ethical values, respect for differences, transparency, collaboration, excellence of services provided to society, and committed to the training of Masters and Doctors aware of their role as agents of social transformation.
